EZ-Force
Shoulder Strength Gauge
The EZ-force was developed for the measurement of the strength component of the Constant score to evaluate shoulder function.
The EZ-force comprises of a digital force reader. It is small in size and can be easily kept in the surgeon's briefcase. The EZ-force is very versatile in its use and attachments. It can be bench or desk mounted and may be used horizontally or vertically as required. It can be adjusted to either the right or left sides of the desk and alternatively the EZ-force can be used as a hand-held device using a strap held to the floor by the examiner's foot. The EZ-force records the maximum applied load (peak force) and the mean load between the 2nd and 3rd second's of the cycle (mean force), the measurements can be presented either in kilograms or pounds and can be switched between the two on pressing one button with no need for conversion tables.
The EZ Force advantages:

- One button for change between measurement units Kilograms (Kg) and Pounds (Lb) – no need for conversion tables.
- Ordinary battery operated. No need for cumbersome charger or connection to the mains.
- Rechargeable battery and external separate charger is optional.
- Auto off to conserve battery life. The EZ force will automatically power off after 5 minutes of no key activity.
- Clear LCD display of both the peak maximal force applied and to mean force applied between 2 – 3 seconds in the measurement cycle.
- EZ Force is supplied with straps to be operated as a foot held stop.
